Commercial Pressure Washing Across Scotland

Palmer & Co provides commercial pressure washing for suitable external surfaces across Glasgow, helping building managers deal with dirt, staining, algae, moss and general surface build-up. The service can be used for entrances, walkways, yards, service areas, forecourts and suitable external building surfaces where a more intensive clean is required.

Pressure washing should always be planned around the surface, setting and access requirements. Our team assesses the area before work begins, taking account of surface condition, water control, public access, nearby tenants, vehicles and any restrictions that could affect how the clean is carried out.

External Surface Cleaning for Commercial Sites

External surfaces on commercial sites can quickly become marked by footfall, weather, traffic pollution, spillages and organic growth. For buildings with customers, tenants or visitors, these areas play a direct role in how the property is perceived and how well it is maintained.

Palmer & Co carries out pressure washing for suitable areas across retail and shopping centres, industrial and warehouse buildings, offices, hotels and other managed properties. Where needed, pressure washing can also be planned alongside façade, render and cladding cleaning or building maintenance to deal with several exterior issues during one visit.

Pressure Washing, Steam Cleaning and Surface Care

Not every surface should be treated in the same way. Standard pressure washing can be effective for suitable hard surfaces, but more sensitive materials may need a different approach. Where appropriate, Palmer & Co can also account for specialist methods such as DOFF steam cleaning, which can be useful on certain stone, masonry or heritage surfaces when a gentler method is required.

This is why surface assessment matters. We consider the material, staining, surrounding area and finish required before agreeing the cleaning approach. In some situations, soft washing may be a better option, especially where biological growth is present on render, cladding or coated surfaces.

Planned Around Access, Water and Public Areas

Pressure washing often takes place in busy areas, including entrances, walkways, service yards, car parks and public-facing parts of a property. The work needs to be planned so that water use, surface run-off, pedestrian routes, vehicle movements and opening hours are properly considered.

For areas that are harder to reach or sit above ground level, pressure washing may also involve our own access platforms, reach and wash systems or other planned methods. Where a site is more complex, our health and safety approach helps ensure access, risk and disruption are properly managed before work begins.

Trusted by Commercial Clients Across Scotland

Client feedback helps show the trust placed in Palmer & Co by managing agents, facilities managers and commercial clients who need safe, reliable work carried out with minimal disruption.

Was on the market for a water fed pole for my new softwash set up, the boys there sorted it out and had everything in stock. Also got a chemical injector nozzle and a free brush head when purchasing the pole. All the stuff is on display so you can actually get hands-on to what you are wanting to buy.

I visited the store for a telescopic pole and water backpack. I've got no firm knowledge of the window cleaning trade, but the team at Palmer assisted me tremendously, providing the necessary fitments and assembly of the product. Great service. Great business. Great people. Thank you.

Story time On one dreichet day in the capital, my flatmate and I sat, staring out of the window waiting for inspiration to strike, when around the corner pulled up a fleet of Palmer and Co vans and a truck. We were stunned. The workforce stepped out, gleaming in the January drizzle and set to work cleaning the windows of the opposing building to us. We were in awe as three daring souls stepped into the capsule and were sent heavenward to the windows in the sky. Bravery. We realised we only had one chance to get this right as we entered onto the Spotify app. S Club 7 began to ring in all its glory, giving them the confidence to ‘Reach for Stars’... and the windows, they certainly sparkled like constellations on that day. Peace out.

Having audited this company at length, we have found them to be professional, diligent and they have the ability to demonstrate key attention to detail. 3Spires observed Palmer & Co.'s workforce perform their day to day functions window cleaning at height and it became apparent that not only do the management possess positive culture but it transcends through the work force too. We would recommend them to all.
